Happy Eating

Time for a little holiday break. Although the holidays can be full of travel and traffic, they can also be full of family and food. So I'm hoping to really focus on the fact that we can all come together--traffic and all--to celebrate and give thanks. May your Thanksgiving be full of good times and much too much food. Quiet City

The city is slowly getting more and more quiet... which I'm sure will soon be changed by the upcoming holidays. But for now, it's certainly a welcome calm.

Feeling under the weather? (Answer for me: yes). The best thing to do is bake the day away. Pick something easy so you can sit back, relax, and smell the fruits of your (not too tough) labor.

Happy Colors

Here's what I'm loving right now: my new Vivienne Tam dress that is absolutely, positively bursting with colors. (And even better, it is absolutely, positively NOT breaking the bank since I snagged it at an outrageous sample sale!). It seems more like a canvas that is covered with bold paints than a simple silk dress...thus why I like it so much. I hung it up on my living room wall merely to take some photos of it, but I'll be leaving it up until I wear it. I know, I know--it's just a dress, but it comes across as a work of art!

Catching Up

I've been a bit behind on my blog this week due to an increasingly busy schedule. So today, I'm adding a couple extra posts to make up for the idle blogtivity (...blog activity=blogtivity...perhaps?). 

These are undoubtedly some of my favorite items. They happen to include an overflowing cup of Starbucks, a trusty notebook, and the new Domino Book of Decorating. The first item keeps me going for hours; the other items keep me entertained for hours. A perfect combination!
